In 1330 The Church of St Peter was built, and it was joined by Ardingly’s second church in 1886 – the Congregational Church. Today, it is the only church of its type still operating in mid-Sussex. Another key driver for visitors to Ardingly is the South of England showground, a vibrant 150-acre estate that is home to the famous South of England Show, as well as to major events and concerts each year.
