At the core of the civil parish of Wivelsfield in the Lewes District, Wivelsfield and Wivelsfield Green are approximately 3 miles south of Haywards Heath and less than 10 miles north of the seaside town of Brighton. Wivelsfield has its own railway station, located on the Brighton Main Line.

Laying immediately north of the South Downs National Park, Wivelsfield is picturesque and boasts a rich history. There are over 20 listed buildings including the Church of St Peter and St John the Baptist, Great Ote Hall, a Grade I listed building dating back to the 13th century and Theobalds, a Grade II listed building dating back to 1627. There’s even a small mention of the Wivelsfield Parish in the Doomsday Book!
